Deluise died in his sleep at a Los Angeles hospital, at about 6 p.m. Monday, according to the Web site. A iconic star in classics like "Cannonball Run," "Spaceballs," "The Muppet Movie" and "Blazing Saddles," DeLuise was 75 years old. I've been reading a lot of message boards since hearing about Mr. Deluise's death -- and every single message I've read so far has been so kind and positive -- it seems he was a really well-liked, well-respected man. . .hopefully all these lovely thoughts and words from fans will be a comfort to his family. . .
