What do you think we could do to make the forum more active? I know that there's a bunch of people who post nearly every day but there's a lot of members who barely post at all and I was wondering how we could attract more people to join and post? Since you guys come here and I assume like it what do you think would engage and encourage others?

I agree it would be nice if there was a lot more activity -- although I come here no matter how quiet things are, lol. . .but I don't know that it's possible to get people to post -- some are just natural lurkers. . .as for getting members to join -- I'm clueless about that as well, it seems you'd need to advertise the forum on sites where there are a lot of JS fans already, like LJ or Depp/Deluise fansites -- but don't ask me how to go about doing that, I'm not certain. . . If you think about it, this fan site does pretty well, I think. . .I don't know of any other JS sites that have had this much activity (I'm basing this on the links we have to the other JS fansites). . .

Hmm true we do have a lot of activity compared to some other boards. I guess a factor might be stuff like Johnny Depp forums are going to be active because he's always doing something new whereas 21 JS stopped in 1992 I think it was so basically people can either talk about old episodes or what the cast or doing...most of whom have their own fansites and forums anyways. I'm not sure what I can do to promote the forum. I have the link on my fanfiction account. I know I haven't been as active as I should have but I think I've improved recently Thanks for the feedback.

I was going to say that about the series being so old that it's not like having a fansite for a show that's still on. . .as for you being active -- well, we all get caught up in other things and can't be here all the time. . .but, yay for you being here My feedback? I wish I had better feedback to give. . .

maybe you could talk to some of the major youtube episode posters about giving a link to the site either in their profile or in the episode descriptions... since obviously if they're already watching Jump Street they're ahead of the curve. As well just talking to the major johnny websites about getting this forum listed.
Although this does amazingly well for an old show, since it's true that there's little new material to stimulate interest. Also as Public Enemies comes out there will probably be a swell in Johnny Depp interest and perhaps Jump Street as well. A link on the IMDb message boards might work... idk, just spitballing now
