Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the “King of Pop” and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday. He was 50. Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ed Winter, the assistant chief coroner for Los Angeles County, confirmed his office had been notified of the death and would handle the investigation. The circumstances of Jackson’s death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. R.I.P Michael Jackson.
I dunno how many people know this but from the ages of 14-17 I was obsessed with Michael Jackson. He was the first musician I became obsessed with and adored. I still have all his albums and some DVDs. The man was a musical genius, I don't care about the controversy in connection to his personal life the man was a legend. No one could sing or dance like Michael.
His music is what helped me through my teenage years and for me they were tough and his music was like a crutch, he was just amazing to me at the time. Looking back he still is. I was shocked by his death and deeply saddened. The world has lost an icon.
I know I probably sound like a mark but it's Michael Jackson. I used to have his posters on my wall.
Music lives forever man.
Condolences to the Jackson family.

RIP Michael... I saw it late last night as i was flicking thru the channels, at first they weren't confiming his death, saying he was in a coma.. but then the news came that he had died!! so sad, All his controversy has never been an issue, it's all been about his music for me, like it has for most people..!! There'll never be another king of pop.. he's gone too soon!! Has anyone seen the press confrence that Jermaine gave..  he's devastated, he was struggling to speak!!! |

Michael Jackson was the greatest. I've been a fan of his music for a very long time and I was waiting for that comeback.
