Ok so we're all big fans of 21 Jump Street but what other TV shows do you watch and love? Be it current shows or old ones.
Mine are;
The Bill, A British drama about the police and how their job affects them in their everyday lives. The reason I love this show is because it has some great actors in it particularly Chris Simmons and Alex Walkinshaw and combines humour with angst. It also has a strong chemistry amongst the cast particularly Chris and Simon Rouse who are both on and off screen friends.
The A Team, recently got into this after seeing the remade film version. Made by the same folks who made 21 Jump Street, this is about four soldiers who were convicted for a crime they didn't commit so broke out of jail and now help people. The reason I love this show so much is the character Murdock. He's certifiably insane and is constantly being sprung from the mental hospital but you're never completely sure if he actually IS crazy or just pretending to stay out of prison.
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, hilarious. The theme alone makes this show. Will Smith is awesome in it, it's just a very funny show.
The Simpsons, admittedly I liked this better in its earlier days, nowadays the comedy seems forced or non-existant.
Party of five, an angst-filled show from the 90s about a family of five children who are left orphaned after their parents are killed in a car crash leaving the eldest brother Charlie to take responsibility for the household becoming his younger siblings guardian. There was some great acting in this, particularly from Scott Wolf who played my favourite character Bailey.
What about you guys?
