I have been buying up Johnny Depp dvd's and found this one. This was an hour in a half bio from 2007. I loved it and it wasn't expensive on Ebay. I didn't know that he wrote The Brave with his brother Danny and filmed etc. His sisters are also in charge of PR in his career. I thought that it was also interesting that he was engaged to all his steady long time girl friends though not all had rings. He said he wanted kids, a stable family and was engaged to Sheryl Winn, Jennifer Grey, Wyonna and Kate too. And it was also interesting to see how he opened the Viper Room with another star and his name escapes me now but I do know who he is...lol...but he spoke of how he was at the bar the night River Phoenix died and how he got done and walked out to see the paramedics working on him. He is so sweet, he closed the bar for a few weeks for the family and friends of River and so fans could come and pay their respects. But also the papers where just going nuts on the whole thing. I remember that and I remember them saying that Johnny was in one the drinking and drugs with River at the time and I think a few other celebs where mentioned being there too.
Then they went on to say that in the 90's around 94 I guess that his friends started telling him that he was drinking to heavy and he was doing some drugs. He ended up as we know one of the lucky ones who listened to his friends and stopped and then calmed down before it became a problem. They went on about his movies and it was just so good I really enjoyed it so much...Did anyone see this? Sue
