Hey all, I know that they filmed JS in Vancouver, now that was in Canada, right? I don't know there could be a town or city of that name in a state. Second if it is in Canada, which I figure it is from the Johnny Depp bio I watched, is it supposed to take place in the States or in Canada? I mean you have them running down to Florida in the 4th season. Fuller talking about working in NY. Oh and in AWOL I guess it is in the States cause they talk about the army which is the United States Army and crossing the boarder which isn't far. So , where is JS supposed to be if it's so close to Canada yet they manage to get to Florida on bus going down the East coast. Now you also have times they speak of the East coast, example the one I just mentioned. They also mention the West coast. Tom also flies to San Francisco after Russel Bunkin's in the Return of Russel Bunkins. They show a bus that says Hastings in the opening song. They talk about Hastings and I looked it up there are a few towns and a college named Hastings in the US. Those states are in the mid-west.Then they talk about the Pedmont which is supposed to be in Hastings. Oh and by the by I looked that up too and there is Pedmont in Canada..Oh and the town called Sheldon in one episode......But it's so crazy and I'm very confused.  Many shows didn't have great continuity and, JS we all agreed in another thread is certainly one of those shows. Thanks to whoever can unravel this for me. Please don't say it is what it is. Yeah it never said specifically where they were but I always got the feeling that even though it was filmed in Canada it was definitley meant to be set in America.

Yeah that's what I figured you guys, thanks. I just thought someone might know more or I missed something in one episode or something..lol....
I remember in Johnny's bio they said he was allowed to fly his family to stay with him up there and he flew Sal Jenco to stay with him since he was a friend and Johnny was lonely. I wonder if that's how Sal got the part of blow fish in JS? Anyone know that one? lol..I'm just full of questions. Sue

I'm not 100% sure if this is correct but I seem to recalling reading/hearing somewhere that Sal visited Johnny on set, did the blowfish thing against the glass and was hired for a one time ep but ended up being in more, possibly to try keep Johnny happy. Steve Cannell did that a few times, hiring actors friends to try keep them sweet on the show, he did it in The A Team with George Peppard, hiring one of his friends to try ease the tension between George and Mr T. Thankfully I don't think there was that sort of tension on 21 JS (unless you buy into the Depp/Grieco stuff)

I don't recall to be honest. I can't remember if Sal is in Season 5.

I saw only the first two episode thinking Johnny was still in those two and Sal was in one I believe. Oh I agree , why would Johnny be one of those types jealous of Richard? He didn't want to be in the show either besides the teen idol thing. Remember he wasn't in as many in the third season and even less in the fourth. I believe he made a movie or two while still doing JS. I think they made it up cause all the stories I hear about Johnny is he is so nice and he pushes people to show more in acting. I also heard he doesn't care if he takes a movie like for example Chocolat, which he wasn't the star in and you see him in some of it but not all of it. He took it because he liked the character he'd be playing. So you are so right that doesn't sound like Johnny. I don't know what Richard is like, maybe he was jealous or maybe just a story to sell the rags they put out...lol....Sue |

Well he wasn't in season three like he was in 1 and 2, there were a few he skipped out on or you see him in one scene, that's what I meant and then season 4 I was like where is he..lol.......
