Opinion on Booker

What's the general opinion on Booker? Do you like him or think he was an unnecessary addition to the show? I know sometimes when they bring new actors in to an already established show fans dislike them.

Personally when I originally watched Booker had to grow on me. I've been re-watching some of Season 3 today and I'm really liking Booker. I think he was great foil for Hanson and Penhall, and he had some brilliant storylines. I particularly love "Nemesis" I think it added some real depth to his character, really humanised Booker.

I think maybe if they'd brought Booker back for Season 5 it might have given the show that tiny bit longer on the air.

What are your thoughts?

I liked Booker. And he was hot! And yes a good foil for Penhall and Hanson.

I was thinking that when I re-watched some episodes last month, how season 5 might have panned out with Booker.

I was kinda so-so about Booker when I first was introduced to him. I mean, we already knew and loved the Jump Street team and here's this guy that's replacing good ole cuddly Doug as Hanson's partner and Hanson hates the guy. Doug going to Intelligence made me sad by the way, especially with some of the scenes in Fun With Animals and the following few episodes when he and Hanson have a moment and Hanson obviously wants to ask him to come back.

I think the whole bad boy attitude both annoyed me and made me laugh. So I like Booker. And the whole frienemy relationship he had with Hanson.

Aww yeah poor Doug and the intelligence thing. The Currency we trade in was so sad.
